Derin Lindsey is the Founder and President of For Black Men’s Health Inc., a nonprofit focused on promoting wellness for men of color through impactful events, resources, and practical solutions. His mission is to educate and empower men to prioritize their health.
A creative entrepreneur in New Orleans, Derin is also the founder of Derin Lindsey: The Brand, a graphic design and branding firm he started at age 19. His career began with designing for stage plays and events and has expanded to working with diverse clients, including celebrities.
In 2015, Derin began hosting networking paneled events for entrepreneurs. He later launched the Black New Orleans blog and founded Another Clothing Line in 2019.
In 2021, Derin’s life changed when he was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Failure (ESRD), sparking his passion for health advocacy, especially for black men. Through For Black Men’s Health Inc., he organizes events like Black Men Yoga, Black Men Juice, Men Meditation & Mental Health, and Black Men Pray to improve overall wellness.
With over 14 years of entrepreneurial experience, Derin has served 1000+ clients, produced 40+ events, and remains a sought-after speaker on branding, marketing, and Black men’s health. He’s committed to impacting lives globally, helping men live Healthy: Mentally, Physically, Spiritually, and Financially.
